Wren Kitchens awarded Worktop Fabricators Federation (WFF) Quality Mark
We’re proud to announce that Wren Kitchens has been awarded the The Worktop Fabricators Federation Quality Mark, recognising our commitment to leading the way in safer, high-quality quartz fabrication.
As the UK’s largest fabricator of quartz worktops, Wren is one of only three in the industry to gain the accreditation, which was introduced to protect workers by promoting and strengthening safety standards.
All Wren worktop fabrication takes place in state-of-the-art, purpose-built factories, under robust safety and health monitoring procedures. Our templating teams use bespoke software and laser templating technology to send precise measurements directly to CNC machines, allowing worktops to be cut and finished to exact specification and eliminating the need for cutting or finishing in customers’ homes or on contractor sites.
Raf Klimek, Chief Operating Officer said:
“We have invested over £40 million in the largest and most modern quartz fabrication facility in Europe. We use advanced computer-controlled water jets and cutting machines, our team wear full protective equipment with their own respirators, and the entire site is protected by a misting system that ensures all dust is captured and removed from the air.
“Our factory practices and the fact that we do not cut or finish worktops at installation locations provides greater reassurance to our retail and contract customers.”
Nigel Fletcher, Operations Officer at Worktop Fabricators Federation, said:
“Wren Kitchens demonstrate a clear commitment to best practice at every stage of the process - from manufacturing through to installation - and is clearly setting a benchmark for others to follow.
“Their level of investment in safety, training and quality assurance is exactly what the industry needs to ensure both workforce protection and consumer confidence.”
Wren is also a BIFIS - the British Institute of Fitted Interiors Specialists accredited installer and holds seven Furniture Industry Research Association Gold product and installation certifications.
